Hi All. Welcome to the first entry of Jeff's Gift Shop's new blog post series: "A Word for Businesses". This blog is dedicated to, not only sharing God's word with others, but to inspiring and encouraging business owners through the word of God as they take on the extremely challenging venture of entrepreneurship. At first there was hesitation about this blog series do to the sensitive nature of religion but we felt it was needed and would be irresponsible not to share such high wisdom and knowledge. These verses are quoted directly from the Bible so feel free to check us on them and offer comments. So, without further ado, here is the first post entitled 'Love & Faithfulness'.
VERSE: Proverbs chapter 2: verses 3 and 4.
Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.
4 Then you will win favor and a good name
in the sight of God and man.
COMMENTARY
Wiktionary defines love as a profound and caring attraction towards someone. All businesses should love their customers. A great way for businesses to show they love their customers it by offering quality products at great prices and offering excellent customer service.
Helping people is a huge part of why Jeff's Gift Shop offers the products we do. We love what we do and love helping people. Showing love in your customer service may just end up being the reason customers become customers and remain loyal.
Any company that doesn't remain faithful to its customers will soon find them disappearing. Offering regular discounts, promotional offers, loyalty programs, gift cards and rewards are ways to show loyalty to customers and gain their loyalty in return.
And who doesn't want favor people and God?
